Suicide is Not a Secret

Talking about suicide does not increase the likelihood that a person will die by suicide. If you or someone you know is contemplating suicide, seek help.  The National Suicide Lifeline provides free and confidential support 24/7 (800) 273-8255

Common signs may include but are not limited to:

·      Talking about wanting to die or no longer living

·      Talking about ways to kill oneself

·      Giving away possessions

·      Isolating/withdrawing from friends and family

·      Saying goodbye to friends and family

·     Putting affairs in order (ie creating a will, making plans for someone else to care for pets or children)
